coddles the body but eats the soul
very interesting
i awake in a place that clearly is not home.. looking about in a blurry daze, the expected trappings of bed, chair and scuffed, dirty walls have somehow disappeared during my wretched slumber.
all the familiar has slid away, swirling downward, but not swallowed, into an eerily black vortex above which my stiffened body floats unaffected by the devouring maelstrom.
my immediate surroundings are an atmosphere of greenish hue that is part of what appears to be sky.
coddles the body but eats the soul
very interesting
hi everyone, i would like to introduce myself and tell my story.
from the standpoint of being one of jehovahs witnesses, my whole family is deeply involved as i was the 5th generation of witness and any children that my brothers or sister have will be the sixth generation.
as some of my brothers and sisters are grandparents, i guess that makes their grandchildren a potential 7th generation.
As human beings we make mistakes, we get caught up in things that's part of what we are but the trick is when you realize somethings wrong you learn from it and move on to make new mistakes it's all a process of learning and change. It's when your mind and heart turn into concrete that you stop living and growing. Most people have a difficult time admitting they've been wrong or their family, culture or whatever is wrong and it's a lonely road because people get angry and don't want you to rock the boat. It's a hard choice but is has it's rewards you wake up and you're alive and doors are opening up.
Welcome
so the oldest man in the world, a japanese, has just celebrated his 115 birthday.. i was reading the other day that life expectancy in my country is around 78.2 today,.
that half the people born since 2000 are expected to see 100 years old, and that.
the first person that will live to 150 years old, is already alive.. so how long would you like to live?.
As long as it takes
massive heart attack took the self-proclaimed "world's oldest teenager" earlier today in an la hospital.
he was 82.. the new year's eve party in nyc just won't be the same without him.. .
i remember watching american bandstand after school late 50's early 60's I loved it being an adolescent watching the older teenagers dance. Dick Clark's death causes all those memories to spill out
i am adrift, without rudder, .
in a sea of broken dreams.. .
my mind descends into a tangle .
It was early in the morning and after fixing a cup of tea he set out for the beach. The cool sand of the night felt strange on his feet but kind of nice and the deserted beach with the sound of the waves made him feel alive. Gazing at the faint glow on the horizon filled him with the expectation of another day and he wondered how many sunrises had he experienced in his many lives here on planet earth and other mysterious places. How long had he been adrift living life after life moving forward towards an unknown future. The silence was broken by his neighbors dog Howie barking calling for his morning walk.
i wrote these 2 poems soon after i found out that i had been under mind ctrl all my life along with my family as far back as i can remember.
i hope this gives someone solace because of its message of loving thru the pain.
hate can be a consuming thing and left unchecked can destroy us and everyone around us.
healing is good
moving forward is great
i have two.. luke 4.
16 he went to nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.
he stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet isaiah was handed to him.
no
sleep eludes me.
she plays coy, then retreats, laughing as she looks back at me.
i vacate my disheveled bed with less than quiet resignation.
Howie was his neighbors dog a delightful tailwaging kind of guy that just made you smile. So when his neighbor fell ill several months ago he got into the habit of walking Howie especially in the early morning his neighbor being a late sleeper. So one spring morning as he and Howie headed down the a shady path Howie stopped suddenly and began to sniff the air and seemed a bit disturbed. Looking around he noticed an unusual plant with a lovely purple flower it filled the air with a mysterious fragrance. so he and Howie decided to get a closer look and as the fragrance filled them something strange happened. As they looked into each others eyes the world went away and they found themselves on a distant planet and Howie told him the history of a people long gone who had created incredibly beautiful works of art and had traveled the galaxy in massive ships. Suddenly his face felt wet and he looked up into Howie's eyes as his sticky doggie tongue licked his face and he was lying on the ground. Dazed and confused they headed back Howie acting as his usual self and as he bent over to undue the leash for a moment as Howie looked at him he saw that place again then Howie turned and ran into the yard.
what if a powerful government were to hatch a plot to exterminate jehovah's witnesses as an organization?.
they ask this question at the bottom of page 23 of the july wt, and i thought the wording was kind of strange.
the target is not jws "the people" (as in nazi germany) but the org alone.
It's all in their imagination
They wish they were a "theatrical spectacle to the world" but the truth is nobody cares they are barely noticed.
...for helping me see the light.. in 2008 i voted for the first time ever.
i voted for obama for president because i truly believed he and biden were a better choice to lead america than anybody running with sarah palin.
she scared me and still does even though i respect and admire john mccain.. being in texas and enjoying our relatively strong local economy i voted for rick perry to remain as governor and voted a mix of republican, democrat, and one libertarian for the other state and local positions that were up for election.
what are you talking about?
